The population estimates are around 70,000 and growing. The popular Fairhaven historic district is has increasingly become a tourist destination over the past several years but it remains a charming, quaint village. Western Washington University adds to the diversity of the town and there outdoor culture gallery is well worth a visit if you are new to the area.
